Chattanooga/ Cloudland Canyon Photo Adventure Weekend

Historic Chattanooga and Cloudland Canyon
Photo Adventure Weekend


Chattanooga and it's surrounding mountainous areas offers a wide range of photographic opportunities from Lookout Mountain to the Tennessee River.  We will capture breathtaking images of sunsets from some of the most panoramic views in the Southeast.  From waterfalls to cemeteries you will come home with a true essence of what it takes to become a travel photographer.

The second part of our Photo Adventure Weekend is at Cloudland Canyon.  Located on the western edge of Lookout Mountain, this is one of the most scenic parks in the State of Georgia, offering rugged geology and exceptional hiking.

The park straddles a deep gorge cut into the mountain by Sitton Gulch Creek, with elevation changes from 800 to 1,980 feet.  The most spectacular view into the canyon is an easy walk from the picnic area. This panoramic view is one of the most beautiful vistas in all of North Georgia. 

Along with the canyon view, we will also explore the rim trail and  take the journey down the maze of staircases to the canyon floor where two amazing waterfalls and cascades await the passionate photographer.

Historic Savannah and Tybee Island
Photo Adventure Weekend


Enjoy a long weekend in one of the most picturesque places on the east coast. 

We will explore the history and culture of Savannah.  With her beautiful architecture, oak lined drives and history found on every brick paved street, you will come home with a wide collection of amazing photographic images.

While in the Savannah area, we will also explore historic Tybee Island.   We will explore the same beaches that were frequented by pirates and soldiers of both the North and the South during the Civil War . 

Tybee Island offers some of the most breathtaking sunrises and sunsets which will give students a wide array of opportunities to push their new found photographic skills.

Join Southeast Photo Adventures while we explore the history and culture of the "Low Country".  Walk back in time to the place where, in 1861, the first shots of the Civil War were fired.  Visit famous historical attractions such as Rainbow Row, The Battery, Charleston Harbor and Fort Sumter.  See the "Sacred City" like never before, from the eyes of a photographer.   Each student will come home with a amazing collection of photographic images during our Photo Adventure Weekend.

While in Charleston, we will also explore historic Folly Island. We will walk the beaches, at sunrise and sunset, in search of photographic treasures.  Jetties, driftwood and the Morris Island Lighthouse will provide us with a wide range of opportunities that will expand our photographic techniques while enjoying a fun weekend adventure on one of the Atlantic East Coast's hidden treasures.
